Here’s a course overview:

When God Goes Quiet
Six Weeks for the Believer Who Is Still Showing Up

There is a particular kind of hard that doesn’t get talked about much in church.

It is not the hard of crisis. Not the hard of doubt that leads someone to walk away. It is quieter than that — and in some ways more disorienting, because it happens to people who are still faithful. Still showing up. Still praying, still reading, still doing everything they know to do.

And yet something has shifted. The warmth is gone. The sense of direction has faded. Prayer feels like words going up and not quite arriving. And beneath the ordinary routine of faith, a question has begun to form — one that feels almost too vulnerable to say out loud:

Where did He go? And what does it mean that it has been this quiet for this long?

This course is for that person.

What This Course Is

When God Goes Quiet is a six-week pastoral journey designed for believers who are in a dry season — not because their faith has collapsed, but because they are navigating the particular confusion of a season where God feels more absent than present, and they are not sure what to do with that.

Over six weeks, you will move through a carefully designed arc — from the disorientation of naming what is actually happening, through the release of self-blame and the pressure to interpret, into a deeper and more settled kind of trust than you may have had before the quiet began.

This is not a course about fixing the quiet. It is a course about learning to inhabit it — and discovering that what feels like absence may be something else entirely.

What You Will Encounter Each Week

Each week is built around four elements:

Teaching that speaks directly into where you are — not about your experience from a distance, but into it. Drawing on Scripture, on the lives of biblical figures who walked through their own long silences, and on the hard-won understanding that quiet seasons are not detours from God’s story. They are often where His deepest work is done.

Scripture engaged slowly and honestly — not as proof texts or quick reassurances, but as the living record of people who sat where you are sitting and found God faithful on the other side.

Reflection questions that reach into the harder territory — the fears you haven’t named, the stories you’ve been telling yourself, the weight you have been carrying that was never yours to hold.

A weekly practice — simple, unhurried, and grounded in the belief that God’s presence does not require your performance to remain real.

The Journey Across Six Weeks

Week One — Naming the Quiet
Before anything else can shift, the quiet needs to be named honestly — without fear, without self-blame, and without the pressure to resolve it immediately.

Week Two — The Weight You Were Not Asked to Carry
Self-blame enters quietly in dry seasons, disguising itself as discernment. This week is about setting it down and returning to what grace actually says.

Week Three — Living the Season You Are In
The pressure to interpret every season can become its own burden. This week releases that pressure and invites a deeper, less analytical form of trust.

Week Four — Listening Without Striving
When listening becomes effort, it exhausts rather than sustains. This week reframes what it means to hear from God — from vigilance to simple availability.

Week Five — Learning to Trust the Stillness
Trust erodes quietly in long seasons of quiet. This week is about rebuilding it — not through a breakthrough, but through the daily decision to return and remain.

Week Six — Standing Before the Answers Come
The goal was never resolution. It was footing. This final week marks what has been formed — and sends you forward with something more durable than answers.

A Word Before You Begin

You do not need to have this figured out to start. You do not need to feel ready, or hopeful, or even particularly faithful.

You just need to show up — which, if you are reading this, you are already doing.

That is enough. It has always been enough.

Welcome to the path.
